It installs, services, markets, sells and distributes very successful ATMs, prepaid phone cards and telecommunications products. Founded in 1995, Communitel, Inc. is certified by the Federal Communications Commission and the Florida Public Service Commission as a public telecommunications utility. It is a member of the International Telecard Association (ITA), the Prepaid Communications Association (PCA), Miami Dade Chamber of Commerce and the ATM Industry Association (ATMIA).
